Shipping policies

Responsibilities

You should immediately advise the shipper of any damaged items received, so the goods can be exchanged. If a package arrives in a damaged state, record all damage or breakages on your delivery slip and the driver’s copy, and get the driver’s signature. Contact the shipper immediately to report the damage, and get in touch with an Atlas Medic adviser to let them know what has happened. Keep the containers for inspection and/or photographs.

If you accept delivery of the damaged goods without notifying the driver, we will, unfortunately, be unable to replace or issue a refund for the merchandise in question.

You are responsible for being present when the merchandise is received. If you are absent at the time of delivery, additional shipping costs may apply.

Charges

Supplies:

The costs are determined by the qualification of the order according to your level of privileges section. Minimum orders of $ 200 before taxes.  PPE is not included in the free transportation policy. Refer to the privileges section.

Additional charges for remote areas and overweight orders may apply.


Equipment:

All equipment is subject to shipping charges, based on weight, volume and quantity. The price is available when you ask for a quote. Atlas Medic commits to deliver merchandise within 3 to 10 working days, on average, depending on the destination. This timeline is not guaranteed, since it hinges on external factors, such as weather, strikes or technical problems.

Types

We offer various types of shipping services, including:

  • Regular

  • Irregular

  • Movers

  • Non-standard

  • Hazardous Material

Carriers

We deliver almost anywhere in Canada. We make every effort to find the best shipping solutions for your orders, and we pre-qualify and sign agreements with specific shippers. 

For any requests to ship using your carrier (these costs are charged to your account), a fee of $10 per order will apply and we will not be held liable if you do not receive your merchandise or it arrives damaged. You should deal directly with your shipper. Your tracking number will be provided if you request it.

Restrictions

Atlas Medic reserves the right to not offer delivery in certain regions, including:

  • rural, remote or isolated regions

  • islands and hard-to-access locations

  • businesses and residences where receiving times do not correspond with our delivery schedule

Rural or Northern regions, when mail must be delivered by plane due to the lack of viable ground transportation for at least six months of the year.

Keep in mind also that Atlas Medic only delivers to physical addresses that are barrier-free. We do not offer delivery to the following addresses and locations:

  • post office boxes

  • Hotels

  • transit shipping services

  • transit warehouses

  • service counters

Insurance

All delivery charges include the appropriate insurance for the value of your packages.

International shipping

International orders (delivered outside of Canada) do not qualify for free delivery. Please ask us for a quote.

Restrictions

Atlas Medic reserves the right to apply additional shipping charges for all oversize, overweight (> 50 lbs.), high-volume or non-standard products. Applicable shipping charges may also be affected if your premises, corridors, elevators, stairs, access points or parking are not in compliance with our standards.

Schedule

We do not guarantee specific delivery times. Deliveries are usually made between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. (local time), Monday to Friday.
